You know them from their 90s exploits as boy wonder solo act (that’s Matthew) and 80s girl group, The Bangles (that’s Susanna). While we might hope to hear Matthew’s hit, “Girlfriend” or Susanna’s take on her band’s Less Than Zero cover of “Hazy Shade of Winter” most likely it will be a selection of tunes from their last two records Under the Covers Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. The first covered the 60s, the second the 70s and these guys lived the next two decades, so that seems to cover most of it, right? We’ll have an A-Lister in the crowd, so keep your eyes wide and your ears open. It’s a triple header night at Eddie’s with two shows for these guys, one at 7:00 and one at 9:30, and one more later on.
Stick around late (or show up after the duo) for the opening evening (or is it morning?) of Eddie’s Night Cap. The special midnight show is for the late night crowd looking for something a little different (maybe sorta funky?) at Decatur’s premier spot for live music. The inaugural edition of this special service industry evening features Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo. Check it out. An A-Lister is guaranteed to be in the crowd.
