We are asking you to SAVE Somebody…but it’s not us. We don’t need you to SAVE the A-List. We’re doing fine. Everybody else out there isn’t as lucky though. There are kids from families and places that are being hit as hard (probably harder) than anybody else out there. They need somebody to SAVE them. Are you up to it? Can you be on their A-List?
Can you give $5?
Do you enjoy this blog? Do you like the down to earth book reviews, the same day music and literary event posts, the record reviews, the weekly rants? Do you appreciate the (dubious) effort we put in? Do you love us in spite of our occasional mistakes? (we know you’re reading Mom.) Do you like having another internet resource for wasting your employer’s time? If you do, then please join us in supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta.
We’re supporting the Warren/Holyfield club (yes, that’s where Evander started boxing) and we’ve set up a BGC donation page just for A-Listers. You can click any of the links in this post and you will be taken to a secure page administered by BGCMA where you can donate with your credit card. You will receive a receipt and your donation is fully tax deductible. All of the money goes to the Boys & Girls Club.
Seriously though, this isn’t about us. It’s about the kids. If you’re fan of what we do here, please give to the Boys & Girls Club. Really, just $5 makes you a hero for kids.
If you’ve read this far, you might be really thinking about make a donation. Thanks! Here’s your bonus – forward the email receipt from your donation of $5 or more to
atlantaalist@gmail.com and you will be entered to win two tickets to see
