The past 30 days have delivered a terrible string of musical losses. Memphis garage-rocker Jay Reatard was found dead in his home on Wednesday.
Jay’s punk antics often masked what was at the core a great sense of melody and reflective songwriting. This is a track that was released on a Matador sampler in the spring of 2008 and appears on his collection of 7″ releases for the same label, Matador Singles ’08
