Corndogs. Beer. Live Music. East Atlanta Village. Need we say more? Probably not, but we’ve never let that stop us before.
Corndogorama 2009 will be taking over EAV this weekend. With more than 40 bands on two stages, and more than 2 corndogs on forty tables, this is a great way to avoid the beaneaters at the ballpark this weekend. We’ll do this in two parts, Saturday and Sunday. Too late for weekend presale weekend passes, so it’s $15 each day.
The meal-crusted franks speak for themselves. On Saturday, we’ll be looking for a short set from Club Awesome on the main stage around 4:00 then heading to the second stage for the Sealions at 5:00. Noot D’Noot start the headliner’s set at 8:00 – but we’re torn. We really want to catch the rest of the line-up – The Judies, Howlies, and Modern Skirts.
However, we may have to slip into the EARL to see Philly’s fantastic Marah (that’s Dave above as an Angel of Destruction) who made their Smith’s show earlier this year into a marathon. It’s just $10 extra, and Y O U will be setting the stage. So much music so little time.
