Tonight: Oryx & Crake at the Earl

Our literary friends should get the reference with the band’s name but the sound is hardly dystopian. It’s a bit experimental, a bit folk, a bit electronic – and we like it. Oryx & Crake haven’t released a full length yet, so live is the best way to hear what they are up to (debut LP expected later this year). Get there early because they play first – Jeffrey Butzer and Blair Crimmins & the Hookers close out the evening.
