By Matt Jarrard
If the listening room at Eddie’s Attic were made for any artist, it’s Joe Pug. Pug’s last few trips to ATL had him playing the Drunken Unicorn (opening for Horse Feathers) and then the Atlanta Botanical Gardens (opening for Steve Earle). It’s good to see he’s landed in a space that’s more suited for his intimate, contemplative folk songs. Watch the video for the incredible Hymn 101 below, and get to Eddie’s tonight…his voice, and recordings sound like they come from another time…they just don’t make ‘em like Joe Pug these days. Doors at 6:30, music at 8:00, Rayland Baxter opens.
