The Low Anthem & Lissie, March 14 at Smith’s Olde Bar

Smith’s Olde Bar has a great double shot for you on Sunday night – The Low Anthem and Lissie.

We wrote about The Low Anthem the last time they were town and are still steady listeners to last year’s Oh My God Charlie Darwin. Last fall they were in East Atlanta, this year they will be a little closer to Midtown. If that trip was too much for you then we hope this one isn’t, because it’s worth the gas cash.

What’s more, they will be joined by Lissie who took us by surprise with her 2009 EP, Why You Runnin’ on Fat Possum Records. In only four songs, Elisabeth Maurus canvases folk, blues, and rock with a powerful and soulful voice.

Check her out in this video from our pals at Paste.
