Aside from being talented and entertaining musicians, the fellas in Yacht Rock Revue are really nice guys. More than any other band in town, they seem to show up at one charity event after another.
Tonight, they will headline the Pamoja Penda Music Festival at Park Tavern. The event proceeds will go to the Ugandan American Partnership Organization (UAPO) who are working to rebuild war torn northern Uganda.
The Yacht Rockers won’t go on until later, but the festival starts at 1:30 and there will be music all day long. The folks from 500 Songs for Kids will also be collecting kids books and CDs for donation, so please bring something for them too. Check it out.
