Once again it has been far too long since gave a nod to the Please Rock collective.
Who would have thought that a band could make a living playing covers any more? These guys do. Of course, there are two easy explanations for that. First, they do it well. Their renditions are faithful to the original but not so much so that they don’t add a few of their own flourishes. Second, they always entertain. They appreciate their fans and make every performance a party for those on board. It seems like they’re always playing the Variety Playhouse anymore, but tonight is a great chance to see them in the close confines of Eddie’s Attic.
Two shows: early show at 7pm, late show at 10pm. $15 at the door.
