If you ask me, Dare Dukes is one of the best things the state of Georgia has to offer. He’s right up there with peaches, R.E.M., the HOPE Scholarship, Jimmy Carter, and CRUNK. Dare resides in Savannah, but has been making trips to Atlanta and Athens pretty regularly to record his album, and play some terrific shows (most notably a recent Melting Point gig with the terrific Jim White).
Tonight, you’ll catch Dare along with two other great Georgian offerings, Night Driving in Small Towns and The Low Days. Music starts off at 9pm, and like most Kavarna shows, its FREE!
