Riley Etheridge Jr., April 14 at Smith’s Olde Bar

About a year ago, I told you about a record I received from the magical island of Manhattan that sounded like it came straight out of the pews of the Ryman Auditorium. The man behind that project was Riley Etheridge, Jr.

He’s coming to Atlanta to feature his latest effort, Powder Keg, and it looks like nothing has changed. If you like the kind of country sound that seems to be so hard to find anywhere on the radio anymore, then you might need to visit the intersection of Piedmont & Monroe on Thursday night.
