Lissie, Feb. 5 at the Loft

I know I was not the only one who was blown away by Lissie’s debut EP, Why You Runnin’, and follow up covers, like Gaga’s “Bad Romance“. I also know I wasn’t the only one a little disappointed by the excessive polish that came with her debut full length, Catching A Tiger.

One average record isn’t reason enough to walk away from an artist with this much natural talent – Lissie’s voice is remarkable. If the rumors are correct, her touring three piece brings exactly the intensity and authenticity that caught our attention in the first place. Check them out at Loft on Saturday.

Lissie and band will be joined by Dylan LeBlanc who put a fine little album out last year, Paupers Field.
