Nashville songwriter and hit maker, Chuck Cannon, will be at Eddie’s Attic tonight. You may have never heard of him but if you’ve spent any time tuned in to a popular country radio station in the last ten years or so, you have probably heard one of his songs. With several number hits under his belt, he has done a lot of songwriting with country superstar Toby Keith. He is the author of one of our favorite Toby songs, “If I was Jesus” and performed it when he visited Eddie’s last year.
Another favorite our ours that he hasn’t sold to somebody else is “Strange”. Check out the video below for a taste of that. He will be appearing with a local fella you may have heard of named Shawn Mullins. Enjoy.
