Texan and country music troubadour Charlie Robison visits Atlanta tomorrow night (Sept. 14) at Smith’s Olde Bar. Tickets are $15 in advance at Ticket Alternative.
We haven’t gotten our hands on his latest effort, Beautiful Day (hey Charlie, please send us a copy) but look forward to catching him while he’s in town if only for the chance that he will play his 2004 hit “El Cerrito Place”. We’re real suckers for that classic country alienation/heartache sound. Here’s the video for that track with Charlie, a pick-up truck, a beach, and a pretty girl.
