If we could be whatver we aspire to be here at Atlanta’s A-List, it would be a community. A bunch of folks who just want to share music and do so without all the notions (and labels) that too often keep us apart.
“What?!” you say. It’s the A-List. Nitwit. It’s supposed to be exclusive. “Yeah, right” we say, “Whatever.”
Why can’t everybody be on the A-List? Makes more sense to us then trying to keep ‘em out.
In that spirit, when a friend of friend of Atlanta’s A-List – who also happens to have won all kinds of songwriting awards – rolls into town we’re happy to spread the word. Amy Speace hails from the Garden State but sounds like she could be doin’ time on Music Row. She brings her American folk to Eddie’s Attic on Sunday night. $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
