Sometimes I wonder. If you really want to sell auto insurance wouldn’t it just be easier to buy a bunch of google ads instead of constantly spamming my site?
Anyway, I found La Femme in the inbox today and I sorta liked it. The sound is described as lo-fi surf but unlike so much of what’s floating around lately under the lo-fi banner, the production is decent. They’re from France so we shouldn’t be surprised that they sing in French, right? Apparently this is what they are saying.
“On a surf board / on the beach, on the wave, I’m searching for sensations / on a surfboard, in the tubes, I’m searching for sensations / you better not try and stop me from riding that wave, I’m invincible / if you dare push me in the tube, I will be waiting for you on the beach, on the wave.” Any Francophiles out there who know better?
