We’re halfway through 2010 and in need of a halftime summer break, but it’s still a good time to look back and share what’s dominated our playlists so far this year. This is Rube’s list but with a little luck we may have a couple more perspectives to share.
As a preliminary cavet, we’ve heard plenty but missed plenty too. There are a few instances where we’ve heard the hype but not the music, like Janelle Monae and LCD Soundsystem, and there’s at least one that we have heard and love but doesn’t officially release until August. In all events, we enjoyed what’s listed below and you might too. For instant gratification you can click through (nearly) any album title and purchase the record.
Rube’s Favorite Albums of 2010 (at the half)
10. Attention System – Wait For My Signal
